By creating a ‘wishlist’ of quantifiable items supporters can see exactly where their donations will be used. A recent example of this was at A Bear Affair 2016, raising much needed funds for Bear Cottage, an organisation that provides support, respite and end of life care for terminally ill children and their families. Bear Cottage offered supporters the opportunity to buy ‘wishes’ for these children and their families including Bear Cottage family meals, sibling camps and child life therapy sessions.
You could have a series of parts of some equipment on the wishlist and supporters make a donation for a specific part such a wheel for a community bus.
